People 1st is the Sector Skills Council for the hospitality, leisure, travel & tourism industries. It provides the strategic focus for the development and implementation of standards, training and qualifications and represents the interests of the hospitality, leisure, travel and tourism related businesses to Governments and partners on these and other education and training issues. JPR has worked on behalf of People 1st since January 2009, raising its corporate profile as well as developing and implementing campaigns for People 1st initiatives, including the award winning Junction Chefs’ Academy, Think Tourism NI, Through the Door, Tourism Educators, Hospitality & Tourism Educators and Tourism Ambassadors programmes.
